Wolayita Dicha get an away advantage
ADDIS ABABA - The other Ethiopian representatives Wolayita Dicha had a 1-1 away tie in their international debut against the Tanzanian side Zimamoto FC in the first leg of the preliminary round of CAF Confederation Cup held on Sunday.
Considering their poor performance in the national elite league this was little expected prior to the match.
It was seen as a good morale boost for the second leg which is scheduled to take place at Hawasa international stadium in 15 days time.
Mekele City still maintain second spot
ADDIS ABABA - Following a goalless tie against Coffee on Sunday, Mekele City maintained their second place in the topflight on 24 points. Despite dropping points on home ground Mekele's head coach Yohanes Sahile said that it is good to share a point with a side like Coffee.
Last week after beating Electric at the Addis Ababa stadium Yohanes said that his side's target this season is to remain in the topflight. He said I will achieve that mission.
In other venues, Fasil City beat the bottom side Arbaminch City 1-0 to make their tally 22. Fasil City are still comfortable by the points gathered so far. Arbaminc City are second from the bottom, that is, they are in a dangerous relegation zone.

Adama City and Jima Abajifar, Sidama Coffee and Electric finished by the same 1-1 result. Adama City and Jima Abajifar have equal 22 points.
