Nigeria: South-South PDP Governors, Leaders Blame Govt for Security Lapses

Port Harcourt — People's Democratic Party (PDP) governors and leaders in the South-South Zone have lamented destabilisation of the nation's security infrastructure, resulting in the recent wanton killings.

The PDP leaders, therefore, vowed to work in unison to ensure the incumbent All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government is defeated in 2019.Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, while addressing the PDP South-South zonal executive council meeting at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Port Harcourt, stated that it would be in the interest of the nation for APC to be shown the way out.
