Tanzania: Sombre Mood Ahead of Akwilina's Requiem Mass

Dar es Salaam — Emotions are running high at the St Theresa Catholic Church in Rombo District after the body of Akwilina Akwiline arrived for the last requiem mass.

The mass, which will be preceded over by Fr Evans Mavumilio, has drawn hordes of mourners including government officials.

The body of the fallen National Institute of Transport (NIT) student will be laid to rest later today at her home village of Olele Marangu Kitowo.
