Uganda: Kayihura Not to Blame for High Crime, Says Besigye

The former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Party President, Dr Kizza Besigye, has asked Ugandans not to blame the Inspector General of Police, Kale kayihura, for the increasing cases of crime in the country.

Dr Besigye, a four time presidential candidate, said while addressing journalists shortly after attending Church service at St. Andrew's church in Mbale town today (Sunday) that the upward trend in murders and other cases of crime should instead be blamed on President Museveni, who is the Commander- In -Chief of armed forces.
