Sudan: Al-Bashir Pledges to Re-Build the Armed Force

Obied — The President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir has undertaken to go ahead with re-building of the Army and to equip it with the up-to- date technologies.

"The Armed Forces have the most advanced military factories in the region and that weapons and ammunitions used by the Army are made by Sudanese factories", the President said while he was inaugurating the Fifth Infantry Division's Officers Club , Thursday.

He added that Sudan has been enjoying a real peace thank to the military efforts.

' We will work to make salaries of members of the Army be the highest in the Country " President Al-Bashir said, indicating to huge sacrifices of members of the Armed Forces in maintaining the security and stability amid plots being interwoven against Sudan' stability and security.

The President lauded huge role being carried out by the Governor of the North Kordofan State, Ahmed Haroun on achievement of development and stability via the North Kordofan's Development Nafeer(mobilization.
