Voters going into tomorrow's Jinja East by-election will cast their ballot in a poll largely to be determined more by the schisms over presidential age limits, than pressing local matters.
In February, the Court of Appeal upheld a lower court's finding and nullified the election of the ruling party's Nathan Igeme Nabeta on grounds of falsification of results. High Court judge Lydia Mugambe had a few months earlier concluded that Nabeta connived with the Electoral Commission to alter results at Danida A-D polling station in the 2016 general elections.
