Namibia: Swartz Ordered to Vacate Office

The Rehoboth Town Council's human resources and corporate affairs manager Willie 'Mistake' Swartz has been ordered to vacate office as his appointment to the position was "illegal".

The council's chief executive officer, Christoph /Uirab, who was recently reinstated by urban and rural development minister Peya Mushelenga when he suspended the entire council, yesterday confirmed that Swartz had been given a letter on Friday to leave office.
