Tanzania: 3,486 Drug Dealers Arraigned By January This Year

Dar es Salaam — At least 3,486 suspects caught trafficking illicit drugs were charged countrywide by January 2018, Parliament was told.

Tabling the 2018/19 budget at the Parliament in Dodoma on Wednesday, April 4, Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa said during the period the Drugs Control and Enforcement Authority (DCEA) and law enforcers apprehended a total of 11,071 suspects.
