Kenya: Harakhe Password Was Used to Authorise Sh800 Million NYS Deal

A Nairobi court on Wednesday heard how former National Youth Service (NYS) senior Deputy Director-General Adan Harakhe discovered that his password had been used to approve payment of Sh800 million without his knowledge.

Appearing before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi, Mr Christopher Keter, a police officer who had been seconded to NYS, said Mr Harakhe discovered about five days later, after the approval had been made.
