Zambia: Financial Scandals in Ministries Continue

Over the past few years, the Auditor-General's Report has been revealing glaring financial impropriety in a number of Government Ministries involving millions of tax payers' money.

These millions of Kwacha have been unaccounted for or the right word has been stolen by its custodians who have also gone scot-free.

The fact that custodians of these monies who include Accountants and Auditors of big ministries such as Finance, Health, Education and Agriculture among them, have gone scot-free, does not mean that the vice should continue to repeat itself year after year. Read more
