Algeria: 4.7-Magnitude Quake Hits Mostaganem

ALGIERS- An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale hit the province of Mostaganem (355-km east of Algiers) on Monday at 4.48 p.m., said the National Centre of Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG) in a communiqué.

The epicentre was located 12 km northwest of Ain Boudinar in the same province, said the CRAAG.
