Angola: Involvement of Firms in Educational Process Recommended

Luanda — The involvement of public and private firms in the vocational training educational system, aimed at guaranteeing assistance with internship, promotion of entrepreneurial initiatives and job placement, among other goals, was recommended last Wednesday, in Luanda, by the participants in the National Council of Education.

The participants in that event also recommended a change in the uniform (white lab coat) currently worn by public school students.

During the event, the participants recommended an improvement in school curricula, the general exams system, school management, among other aspects.

The gathering analysed topics like "experiences and challenges in education in the ambit of sustainable development", "Education policies and proposals for quality education" and "Valuing education professionals", among others.
