Sudan: President Al-Bashir Receives Invitation From Erdogan to Participate in Emergency Islamic Summit in Istanbul

Khartoum — President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Wednesday noon received a phone call from the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyeb Erdogan, through which he invited President Al-Bashir to participate in the emergency summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul.

President Al-Bashir has conveyed to President Erdogan his agreement to take part in the summit which will discuss the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people who have rejected the decision of the US President to move the American Embassy to the occupied Quds.

The State Minister at the Presidency and Director of the President's Offices, Hatim Hassan, said that President Al-Bashir will leave to Istanbul on Friday to participate in the emergency OIC summit.

The Foreign Minister will leave to Istanbul before the President of the Republic to participate in the summit's ministerial council.
