Egypt: Shoukry Congratulates Sudanese Counterpart On Assuming Office

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Wednesday made a phone call with his Sudanese counterpart Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed, congratulating him over taking office.

Shoukry said he seeks cooperation with Ahmed to boost the ties between the two neighboring countries, the Foreign Ministry's spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said.

Ahmed hailed the deeply-rooted relations between Khartoum and Cairo, adding he would pay a visit to Egypt.
