Zimbabwe: Angry Villagers Drag Mpofu to Court

Umguza Community Share Ownership Trust has dragged Home Affairs minister Obert Mpofu to court for allegedly grabbing borehole drilling equipment and accessories valued at US$600 000 from the trust.

Mpofu, regarded as an untouchable political godfather in the region, is accused of working with Matabeleland North Zanu PF chairman Richard Moyo and party activists to grab the equipment from the custody of the trust.
