Sudan: Finance Minister Announces Arrival of 12 Fuel-Loaded Ships to Port Sudan

Khartoum — The Minister for Finance and Economic Planning, Dr Mohamed Osman Suleiman Rikabbi, has announced the arrival of 12 ships carrying fuel, including 3 loaded with benzene, 7 with gasoline, and two with cooking gas and that they are now offloading their shipment and distribution is underway to Khartoum and other states.

The Minister who headed the coordination meeting of the ministries of finance, electricity and fuel as well as the Bank of the Sudan, got a briefing on the situation of fuel and stressed the need to strictly apply measures at service stations to avoid any manipulation by mean-spirited persons.
