Angolan President Gets Message From Vietnamese Counterpart

Luanda — The Angolan President, Joao Lourenco, received a message from his Vietnamese counterpart, Tran Dai Quang, in which the Asian statesman stresses the solidity of the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries for more than forty years.

In the letter, the President of Vietnam requests that the Angolan Head of State supports diplomatic efforts by Vietnam to become a Non-Permanent Member of the United Nations Security Council for the period 2020/2021.
