South Africa: Hawks Condemn Killing of Officer Attending to a Complaint

The Hawks have condemned the "senseless killing" of a captain in Bloemfontein on Thursday evening after he attended to a complaint.

Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said Captain Qeya Jonas Tshabalala, 52, was shot and killed after he was attacked while attending to a complaint in Phelindaba.
