Sudan: Governor of Northern State Calls for Concerted Efforts to Increase Mining Revenues

Dongola — Governor of Northern State, Yasser Yousif Ibrahim presided over meeting of Mining Coordinating Council during which the Governor was informed on overall mining activities in the State.

Minister of Urban Planning and Chairman of the Council, Jaafer Abdul-Majeed said in a statement to SUNA that the Governor of Northern State has gave directive for exerting efforts and cooperation between all organs to raise mining revenues and its contribution to national economy as well as using the revenues in enhancement of services provided to people.
