Nigeria: We Have Resolved All Issues About Congresses, Says APC

Lagos and Enugu — Ahead of the national convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled to hold on Saturday, its National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Bolaji Abdullahi, has advised members still nursing grudges over the last congresses to bury their grievances.Abdullahi, who spoke with The Guardian in a telephone conversation yesterday, said the National Working Committee (NWC) had resolved all issues concerning the last congresses in the states.

The party's reaction is coming on the heels of the outcry by Mr. Foud Oki, who staged a parallel congress in Lagos on May 19, urging the NWC not to recognise any delegate from the state to the convention except the one led by him.Oki had threatened to go to court if the NWC or the convention committee acts otherwise.
