Nigeria: 2 Military Officers Forfeit N200m Stashed in Banks to Govt

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, yesterday, ordered that N200 million warehoused in some commercial banks by two military officers and their three companies, be temporarily forfeited to the Federal Government, pending the outcome of investigation.

The said money, according to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, was fraudulently withdrawn from the Defence Headquarters overhead expenses accounts by the two officers and their companies.
