Uganda: Mudslide Victims - Make Relocation Acceptable

This is not a good development. This newspaper on Wednesday reported that mudslide victims in Bukalasi Sub-county in Bududa District, who had temporarily been relocated to a camp in Bukalasi Secondary School playground, have started returning to their respective homes.

Reason? They have neither been provided shelter nor food at the camp. One of the victims said: "At night, apart from sleeping in the cold due to lack of blankets, we are bundled with children."
