Gambia: Justice Minister Renews Govt Commitment to Implement TRRC Recommendations

According to a statement from the Ministry of Justice, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice Dawda Jallow has promised victims that the government is fully committed to implement the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparation Commission's recommendations that looked into the violations committed during former President Yahya Jammeh's regime.

This promise came after hundreds of victims and sympatises marched on the street of Kairaba Avenue to demand justice and remind government about the Never Again to human rights violations in the country.
