Ghana: Vice President Bawumia Lauds Religious Leaders for Ensuring Tolerance

The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has commended Muslim and Christian leaders in Ghana for their immense contributions to religious tolerance and peace.

Addressing Muslims on Saturday at the 2021 National Maulid - the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad, S.A.W - Dr Bawumia said Ghana's global credentials as a religiously tolerant and a peaceful nation had been made possible by the understanding and camaraderie between leaders of the two major religions in the country.
