Somalia: Turkey Congratulates Somalia On the Occasion of the National Day

ANKARA - Turkish foreign affairs Ministry congratulated the Federal Republic of Somalia on the occasion of 62nd Independence Day.

"Best wishes for health, peace, and prosperity to the friendly and brotherly people of Somalia," Türkiye Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Somalia and Turkey developed strong relations in 2011 after Erdogan visited Mogadishu during the famine and turned international attention to the country's humanitarian crisis.
