I THINK BEFORE THE DISCOVERY OF THIS COMPLEX SYNDICATE , lEBANESE AS A WHOLE HAVE BEEN USING THE POWER THEY HAVE ON OUR ECONOMY TO DENIED THE GOVERNMENT OF MUCH NEEDED REVENUE. FROM NOW ON ALL CUSTOMS OFFICERS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR ALSO CONSIGNMENTS LEAVING THE COUNTRY THESE COULD CONTAIN FOREIGN CURRENCIES .
Our government is starting to do business the right way. It's very strange to hear that our custom officers didn't take bribe. Because it has been business as usual. I hope they continue to help by allowing the government to generate its revenue through taxes.
Despite the government is trying to generate revenue, it also needs to reduce taxes on inputed automobiles. It will enables Liberians from other parts of the world to improve the transportation system by bringing in more vehicles into the country.
