May I say Amen to the observation of Malam Nasir el-Rufai. I pray that the acting President would seek Malam Nasir's insight. There should not be any rush to hold election in 2011. The Electoral Commission need to be re-organized. The succession of the Presidency need to be clarified as well as a limitation on the power of political parties to decide that the acting President will not be nominated by PDP. Can you imagine that Barak Obama would not be nominated by the PDP if he was a Nigerian. This is the time to end the practice of zoning in Presidential and Vice-Presidential positions. I am a Nigerian born citizen of the United States of America. I am entitled to all the rights and privilleges of native born Americans, except the right to be President of the US. There are many Nigerians in the US employed by the Federal, State, City Governments, without descrimination as to where they were born. Nigeria has not been able to outlaw these discriminatory practices after 50-years of independence. I pray that President Yar'Adua's illness will be known as a turning point in the democratization of Nigeria. Nigeria cannot have Peace without Justice for all its people.
