The Special Court for Sierra Leone has sentenced former Liberian president Charles Taylor to 50 years' imprisonment for aiding and abetting war crimes in Sierra Leone.
This, together with the recent jailing of James Ibori of Nigeria in a
London court, is a triumph for colonialism, imperialism and slavery without
which Africans would never have come in contact with the whites. Taylor
annihilated Doe and went to bed in diamonds. Who would have raised a finger
against him in Africa?
Why is the ICC only arrest and prosecute mostly African rebels and
leaders? In the case of Taylor, we may never really know why he is been
punished for crimes in Sierra Leone and not in Liberia. The reasons are
smoke screen that do not fool us.Time will tell what will eventaully be the
result of all this selective justice while co-conspirators roam the halls
of power in Liberia.
Thank God, that JUSTICE has finally been done. Let him pay the PRICE for
the WRONG he committed in Sierra Leone.
Well anyway, he couldn't still escape going to jail, because we in Liberia
would have also tried him for what he did to us in Liberia.
First i want to give credit to the people of Sierraleon who had the courage
to seek justice. If u allowed the west to used u as a weapon of death, you
should be willing to pay the price for your ignorance.it no secret how the
so call west operate but are still leaders in Africa doing job for the
west. We liberians must now send Taylor and all his warlords for a reunion
at the international court

Someone said justice served but there still a selective Justice. Since TEJAN KABA is moving free in and out of sierra leone there is no justice.
