As opinions vary amongst the various political parties over whether the newly-created 45 constituencies should take effect in the upcoming elections, the Chairman of the Electoral Commission (EC), Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan has reiterated the position of the Commission as subservient of the provisions in the 1992 Constitution that obligates the EC to periodically review constituencies in the country.
