• Eritrea: RSF Launches Probe Over Jamming of Exiled Local Radio Station

    An international press freedom advocacy group, said on Thursday that it has launched investigation over the acts of piracy perpetrated against an independent Eritrean satellite Radio broadcaster, ERINA.

    Not quite sure what the RSF means when it says "disruption of over-the-air broadcasting by an authorized service" and "disruption of an automated data processing system. Who gave them the authority to broadcast to Eritrea? Surely not the Eritrean Goverment which is responsible for the air waves of Eritrea. As recent auctions of bandwiths have shown, the air waves are an important commodity of a given soveriegn nation. The fact that the RSF is appealling to the French authorities would indicate that they believe that Europeans still own Africa. Eritrea, like any other nation in the World has the right to control its airwaves.

    no way!!eritrea is no for those criminals,french government should have advocate us when were burning by ethiopia and US in 40 years.More than one million people chopped their head and many brothers and fathers burried in big gallary,where were you france and huma right.but now..now you start to offer radio for eritrean mercenarie to change eritrea to somalia,eraq,libya and afganistan...frech government should close this terror against eritrean people.Our domestic problem is our duty not yours,leave..leave us alone for God sake? about those lossers dont warry,we know them for 40 years,they burned us while we are alive,radio france is a campain to rais eritrea to fight each other.we passed this crim,,,please
