UN Integrated Regional Information Networks, 28 November 2012

Attempts by the Nigerian government and the Boko Haram militia to peacefully resolve a three-year-old insurgency by the Islamist group have thus far floundered, dashing hopes of an imminent end to the violence which has claimed hundreds of lives.

There is no news from this writeup. It is the same old drum that beats the music for Boko Haram to thrive. On what basis does a government release murderers who have killed thousands of innocent women and children? Why should any sane man or woman advocate for compensation for Boko Haram? Is it because they won gold medals for Nigeria and lifted the name of Nigeria to world fame? Why must it be Boko Haram who dictates the conditions of cease fire? And on what basis do one compare the Niger militants with Boko Haram? What are Boko Haram fighting for? Can Boko Haram take its cause to the UN and defend it? The Niger Delta militant had a cause which is defendable in the UN. And the UN has long recognized that they fought for a just cause. Just this week the ICJ has declared the actions of Boko Haram as crimes against humanity. President Jonathan and his cabinet should note that should they fail to stop this crime, they will all be judged in the ICJ for the same crime (failure to stop crimes against humanity). The government should once and for all, use all resources available to it, and terminate the existence of Boko Haram. All the arrested member and senators cum Boko Haram, should be tried immediately. If found guilty, they should jailed or executed publicly. We are in a democracy, we should immitate the USA and treat Boko Haram members the same way the USA treat all Al Queda members. As simple as ABC.

WE WILL SOON BE ASKED TO NEGOTIATE WITH ARRESTED ARMED ROBBERS AND ASSASSINS ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE FROM A MUSLIM BACKGROUND! AFTER PAYING COMPENSATION TO THEM THEN WE HAND OVER THE COUNTRY TO THEM, DEPORT THEIR NEIGHBOURS WHO ARE CHRISTIANS OR ALLOW THEM TO FORCE ISLAM ON THEM OR KILL THEM. EVIL WILL NEVER TRIUMPH - BOKO HARAM AND THEIR SPONSORS NEEDS TO LEARN THIS ETERNAL TRUTH. DOES SANI THINK THAT THOSE MURDERED HAVE NO HUMAN RIGHTS OR THEY ARE NOT HUMANS?
