Okay Mugabe. Let's see you start up 500 mines creating 300,000 direct jobs and 500,000 indrect. It will only take about $15 billion in working capital and another $15 billion in infrastructure. What, you don't have that kind of money? No problem, you can borrow it at 20% interest. Oh wait, you'll need another 15% off the top to keep your cronies happy.

What's that? You don't need all that. You can start off mining with paper clips and ice picks? That's great! In 50 years you might eventually get the unemployment rate down to 87%. Hurray!!!

Mugabe tells us he has received information that people have solicited bribes, then says if he receives information that people have solicited bribes they will be sacked. So who have you sacked Robert?

What's the point of listening to this old crook when he never backs up his rhetoric? For example he tells people to desist from violence and to allow people their vote but we all know that it's still happening and will happen with impunity.

Corruption is a key part of Mugabe's patronage system, as is selective impunity from the law. He has created this system over a long time solely to support his grip on power. Only a fool would think he is serious in this latest statement.

"Okay Mugabe. Let's see you start up 500 mines creating 300,000 direct jobs..."

Or, he could take the $10 billion that that China has offered and start smaller and work from there. That way he wouldn't have to rely on those who imposed the economic sanctions that created so many problems for the country for anything.

"Mugabe tells us he has received information that people have solicited bribes, then says if he receives information that people have solicited bribes they will be sacked. So who have you sacked Robert?"

Cdr. Solomon Mujuru. He even did it before he heard the first complaint of corruption, demonstrating his amazing ability to foretell the future.

If he hears any more complaints of corruption, Tendi Biti will be next. If complaints of corruption in ZANU are still heard, then he will sacrifice as many MDC ministers as needed to end them, up to and including Tsvangirai himself.

Now cast your vote, citizen. You are completely free to vote however you want, but if you don't vote ZANU, you will have one less arm to vote with next time. Corruption must be eliminated, after all.
