The Trial Chamber II of the International Criminal Court (ICC) acquitted Mathieu Ngudjolo Chui, former leader of the Front des nationalistes et intégrationnistes (FNI), of charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in the context of the armed conflict that took place in Ituri from August 2002 to May 2003.
