    Heritage (Monrovia), 24 December 2012

Liberia's main opposition party-the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) through its National Chairman has said the appointment of the CDC's standard bearer, Mr. George M. Weah, as Liberia's Peace Ambassador will not ruin the party's chances of becoming the next ruling party.

A credible political party will come to play and that party will be elected. Weah will not be elected because he's also corrupt as the current administration. Since the seven years of this administration, corruption, lock of meaning development, and reconciliation have been on the minds of Liberians. As an opposition political party, Weah and folks have remain silent on corruption and we don't know where they stand on corruption. For this reason, it is safe to say that a Weah Administration would be 8 times more corrupt than the current administration. Therefore, qualified Liberians who mean good for Liberia and the Liberian people should form a national political party to take on the two major corrupt political parties in 2017.
