The facilitator of the peace talks between the DR Congo government and the M23 rebels, Dr Crispus Kiyonga, has said steps have been taken to ensure that the UN Security Council sanctions against the rebels do not affect the ongoing negotiations in Kampala.
M23's invasion of Goma took the residents by surprise and caused 800,000
people to loose their homes and property; property seized by M23. Now all
they do is whine about sanctions and how the UN Security Council slammed
M23; please. Why doesn't M23 do something constructive, like unraping all
those women and children that they gang-raped while in Goma? Why don't M23
have some negotiations about that?
