• Kenya: State Should Stop Ignoring Poachers

The Star (Nairobi), 31 January 2013

THE Star has just finished running an extensive series on elephant poaching in Samburu and Laikipia. It is very easy to blame the Chinese who buying virtually all the stolen ivory from Kenya. They are fuelling and driving the trade.

I agree with your editorial 100-percent! Poaching will impoverish Kenya by crippling and finally killing its wildlife tourism sector which brings in billions of shillings to many thousands of working people as well as protecting Kenya's national wildlife treasures. What is keeping the government from acting and acting NOW!
