When President Barack Obama announced his administration's US$7 billion 'Power Africa' initiative in Tanzania this month, Nigerian businessman and philanthropist Tony Elumelu was at his side. His Heirs Holdings investment firm pledged $2.5 billion towards an estimated $9 billion private-sector fund to boost the electrification project.
Africa being the last frontier has been predicted a long time ago by Mr
Tony Elumelu and it's coming to pass so speedily before our very eyes; who
would have thouht that the president of America would come to Africa with
investment and trade at the top of his priorities. I think the time has
come really for Africans to know that the rule of the game is truly
changing. The era of focus less aid is fast giving way to africapitalism
which is the new model for africa,s development. It is in my own
definition a system whereby Africans are doing it for africa(both the
government and the governed). This interview is indeed very compelling,
intelligent and genuine , coming from a fanatically passionate African
mind. Well done Mr Elumelu .
Africa Must Free Africa
[ Deuteronomy 28:68 ]
And the Lord shall bring Israel into Egypt again with ships and there
Israel shall be sold to Israels enemies as slaves, and no man shall set
Israel free; by the way of which I spoke to Israel , Israel shall see it
no more.
Believe it or not, we Black African in the diaspora of countries
like America, Brazil,The United Kingdom, the islands, even India (via The
Islamic version of robbing Africa of its people), are descendants of the
Israelites The Lord God said ( via his Prophet Moses ) we would suffer this
fate; because of our stubbornest and refusal to stick with Lord God .
And speaking of those descendants, will we ever be free ? Recently
& once again the World recognized Martin-Luther King Jr. . On April 3,
1968, hours before he was murdered, he said (talking strictly to his
disenfranchised and scattered Africans ): .We as a People Will get to the
Promised Land .
I believe that this was a prophecy of not only what would happen,
but how it would happen. Going back to Deuteronomy 28:68 and adding it to
MLK Jr.'s prophecy, here's what I get:
a) No man shall set us free PLUS b) We As A People shall get to the
Promised Land =
[ We shall set ourselves free, when we choose to become whole again. ]
And how do we become whole again? By reclaiming our missing parts.
What is stopping Africa from reclaiming its stolen people ?
I believe that the times are approaching for Africa's redemption
from: Poverty, Oppression, and Depression.
[Daniel 11:14 ]
And in those times there shall many nations come against the king of the
south
(Great Britain BABYLON ):
ALSO the ROBBERS OF ISRAEL exalt themselves to establish the vision; BUT
THE ROBBERS OF ISRAEL SHALL FALL !
We are that Israel held in exiled & domestic captivity by Babvlon ( The
United Kingdom) & It's Whore (America).
Many of us Black Africans want to return to our Motherland. Reclaim
your missing children Africa! As is sung in The Song of Africa, we sing God
Bless Africa. How can God Bless Africa, when Africa won't Bless itself.
There is an unlimited wealth of prosperity awaiting Africa, if Africa
rejects the ways of Balaam and receive the Blessings Of Father Abraham, via
Africa's Impoverished, Oppressed, Depressed Children.
The question is Will Africa Invest In Africa ? The Robbing of our
people was not only done by Europeans & Muslims, but by Africans too. We
Black Africans must first give ourselves Reparations. As the saying goes,
Love your neighbor, as you love yourself. We cannot truly love anyone,
until we first love ourselves. Africa Claim your heritage, claim your
children Africa. Free us from this bondage .We have trillions upon
trillions in capital, expertise, and experience !!!
When former President Obasanjo introduced the idea of establishing the
Pentascope during his first term (2003), his goal was to encourage the
pooling all Nigeria’s stolen assets hidden in foreign bank accounts so
the proceed could be invested in Nigeria’s infrastructural development
rather than sitting idly by while those foreign banks are collecting
interest and benefiting at Nigeria’s loss. That is how South Korea’s
corrupt oligarchy grew their societal economy out of its poverty
immediately following the Korean War. Unfortunately, President Obasanjo’s
critics couldn’t think beyond their flat noses and promptly killed the
idea. Today, if Mr. Elumelu’s wise example of investing $2.2 Billion of
his assets this way, perhaps that would encourage other Nigerian
billionaires like him to bring their assets home to invest, no questions
asked as to the source, (stolen or hard-earned) as long as they benefit
Nigeria’s structural development in the long run. Probes and justice can
come later.
It couldn't have been better said than a person like Tony , who is part of
the system both as a regulator and as an investor, and now coupled with the
spirit of giving or should i say giving back.Tony is a mentor to many and
worthy of emulation.Having said all these I like to remind him and others
with the opportunity to navigate and negotiate the affairs of our
people/continents either as Nigerians or Africans and are part of the
decision making, to protect and safe guard the issues of local content
provision, capacity building, technology transfer and even continuous
education/training with these investors including themselves. So we don't
end up just watching these investors come in with everything and send all
their earnings out without an overall impact on the people in these areas
mentioned above so we can be able to not only take over but be an integral
part of the growth and transformation.I know others will be quick to defend
these to say these do terms exist in the agreements with investors, but the
truth is that where it exist the implementation is not fully enforced. If
we just look at things only from the bottom-line of business and
investments and allow profits and balance sheets to overshadow the
traditional development strategies that are very considerate of its
people, and consider their ability to sustain with the high cost of
leaving, without working out clear visions/avenues to help them determine
where their sustenance will come from in order to be able to afford the
cost of living that is on the rise which is usually associated with
deregulations&privatization7high cost of Infrastructural developments,then
poverty will cripple deep into the middle-class and belong who even have
dependence and might not qualify for these aids and philanthropic support
being canvassed.

I was so inspired by your comment. How sensible, and all inspiring. You
are correct when you say Africa, must free Africa. Each nation should take
the responsibility to protect its own, teach the nation to trust in God.
Come together in support your country. Obama's willingness to help other
nations comes with a price. The U.S. is almost in economic demise, so how
can it be possible that it's president can turn over $7 billion dollars to
aid another country. When a land is prosperous, it should always be willing
to lend financial support to it's allies. But when a nation is near
economical ruin, it sounds irresponsible. God gives us direction. God has
said we are to help the poor, and he has made it clear that no man is to
support the wicked. When a nation becomes wicked. and has abandoned God, it
will soon come to destruction. God is willing to bless those who honor
him. I have found the most spiritual people in Africa, of any country I
have visited. God will rescue Africa, as long as Africa honors him. The
U.S. has forgotten God, and if the rest of the world does not know it, we
are at the worst economical era that has ever befallen us. The U.S. is an
enormous example of what happens to a nation that abandons God. A nation
that will soon be crushed by it's enemies. Africa, is a beautiful land,
and it has been a part of Bible history, and should be cherrished like a
treasure. Africa, take hold of your land and make it prosperous. It is
the people of Africa who can make it prosperous by honoring the Lord God in
every part of it's existence. God will bless Africa it you keep and honor
him. No amount of money from Obama or any other source, can compare to
what God can do for a nation.
