As a father, i had felt so much pain by the death of Cynthia. My
consolation however is that her death is not in vain as her blood will
speak liberation for several women who have been victims of such assault. I
believe the story of Cynthia has opened a new chapter for Nigerian women
and the need to make policies that protects women. For Nigeria her death is
a call for more vigilance, caution and return to traditional family values.
If Cynthia’s killers were well brought up, they won’t do such evil. May
her soul rest in peace! Only God can console Cynthia’s parents and
siblings for this loss.

Cynthia Osokogu, who was killed in a hotel room in Lagos in July, allegedly by people she met through Facebook, is to be buried.
