UN Imposes Sanctions on Eritrea

Seven months after the African Union called on the United Nations Security Council to act against Eritrea for supporting the insurgency in Somalia, it has imposed an arms embargo and travel bans on top Eritrean political and military officials, and has frozen the country's assets.
