Cameroon Ramps Up Timber Sector

The government has undertaken a series of reforms and actions to encourage sustainable transformation of wood in order to contribute to job creation, fuel consumption and business opportunities.

Cameroon became the first producer of logs from Central Africa, with 2,731,000 cubic metres for a forest covering more than 22.5 million hectares.

    That is a good idea and i think the government can also lunch a reforestation programmes especially in the cities to helped fight climate change.
