Sudan, South Sudan to Finalise Oil Talks

South Sudan said it has agreed with Sudan to finalise talks on the key issues of oil, currency and borders by the end of September, after the first round of negotiations since independence.

South Sudan will build their own oil infrastructure in the future.

In the meanwhile South Sudan wants to rent Sudan's oil pipelines.

Prior to secession, the two sides evenly split the proceeds from oil exports.
