Ugandan Govt Sends Aid to Bulambuli Landslide Victims
The Government has dismissed claims that it has failed to send relief supplies to mudslide victims of Bulambuli. The leader of the government emergency response team major general Julius Oketa told NTV that the government did dispatch lorry loads of supplies to the affected areas on Monday. The devastating mudslides swept through the sub-counties of Sisiya, Bulugunya and Lusha in Bulambuli district, killing 30 people, burying over 22 houses and washing away property and crops.
