Only GOd knows where it is going. The international community did not make mistake in leaving the Congolese organize elections themselves. They have got enough experience with dictators in Africa to know that if left alone, Kabila and his cronies were going to do everything humanly possible to steal elections from the people. They always have been scared of Tshisekedi and assisting with elections like they did in 2006 would have brought into power. Reason why they pretended that Congolese are mature enough to organize their own ballots. As it is slowly transpiring, they always wanted Kabila instead of Tshisekedi, as the statu quo serves better their interest. But, as you so stated, Congo is on the move, and God knows to where.

This is a very interesting analysis. The first comment by Occupycongo is also a very interesting response to it. The international community is simply stupid. Why?, because this is the same wath they took, by keepping Mobutu in power for 32 years. What is the purpose of organizing elections if the winners are already pre-determined?, waisting time and needed or scarce resources?. There is still a way to helping the Congolese people. Just help us remove the nonesense name DEMOCRATIC from DRC.

When DR Congo government was left alone to organize its elections of 28 November, I think it was a trap laid by the international community. The result is disastrous and the Congolese people are suffering all the bitter consequences. A baby who learns how to walk needs a hepling hand, why the whole world seems to keep silent on the D R Congo matters whereas by protecting our forest(the second largest forest in the world) we are saving many lives??? When shall we break down this silence???
