South Africa: Country's Energy Policy Seeks Cleaner Supply
Despire concerns over safety, South Africa's Energy Minister has said that the construction of nuclear power plants will play a 'major role' in the country's Integrated Resource Plan which aims to broaden the country's electricy supply technologies and reduce its dependence on coal.

I have been telling this very same thing that nuclear power was never proved to be safe anywhere in the world and countries having nuclear plants are in real discomfort. This movement of the Greenpeace for a nuclear free world is remarable.
I recently discovered the following dispersion model, which someone had linked to Berkeley’s discussion page. It uses TEPCO emission data to model possible dispersion patterns for Neptunium and Plutonium

If this model is accurate, it is very disturbing. Where are all of the so-called experts who claimed these elements were too heavy to travel far from the plant site?
