Sudan Tells Soldiers Fighting Rebels: Take No Prisoners
The governor of South Kordofan state - already indicted for crimes against humanity at the ICC - has been filmed urging members of the Sudanese Armed Forces fighting Sudan People Liberation Movement North: "Don't bring them back alive".
And in an interview with Al Jazeera news - which broadcast the exclusive footage, a senior adviser to Sudan's information ministry, has defended the governor's position as "absolutely correct". In an interview from Khartoum, the official recognized only that the killing of civilians was wrong.
