Sierra Leone: Fighting for Women's Right to Land

Many women in Sierra Leone live under traditional land tenure structures that do not recognize a woman's right to own property. Like some African countries, it has a dual land tenure system depending on location. This creates confusion regarding land rights for women, reports ActionAid International.
