South Sudan: Billions Lost in Fake Contracts, Inflated Payrolls
An audit report shows how unspecified billions of taxpayers' money went unaccounted for in 2008 through fake contracts and inflated payrolls in South Sudan government ministries and agencies.
Some of the areas covered in the report were budget execution, oil revenue, non-oil revenue and payroll expenditure.
