Kenya: Mobile Money Monopoly Unfair, Says World Bank

The mobile money market in Kenya that accounts for almost half of the global mobile money subscribers needs further regulation for fair competition, says the World Bank.

Safaricom’s mobile money service M-Pesa controls 68 percent of the Kenyan market.
