East African Piracy Slashed But Govt-Pirate Ties Growing

Reports from the International Maritime Bureau reveal a significant decrease in piracy levels in the first quarter of 2012, but reports of growing ties between Somali government officials and pirate leaders threatens to reverse this positive trend.
