The Okogbe incident is quite unfortunate. This can only occur where there is no value for lives, where the people are left like sheep without a shepherd. The indigens of Okogbe are pleading, but to who? Which government are they pleading to? The government who cares? Or the one who listens and understand? The people of this berieved community should understand that they all on their own. Nigeria is more of an individualistic society "survival of the fittest". Those people who perished in that disaster were only trying to survive. They saw "Manner" which eventually turned to evil. If there was a government who cared for them and provided electrcity (which is among the basic things all citizens have the right to enjoy), those ones who perished would probably be satisfied and wouldn´t pursue the danger. Look at all the stolen money from the national purse. Is it not the money meant to provide the basic ammenities? Are these t.....s really not ashamed of themselves? Why should the ghost of the perished disturb their loved ones and not the ones who neglected them and refused to "fight" for them? Recently there was a power outage in India for two days and it was reported in the Media as if the people of India will die if the outage continues the third day. The Indians are so lucky.. power outage for the first time in more than two decades. Thats a record! Why is Nigeria different? Are there no press in Nigeria? Are there no human beings in Nigeria who deserves constant power supply? Shame to the "Giant of africa"! The people of Okogbe should stop hoping, stop pleading, stop telling people how poor you are because no one is listening and none is ready to help. Private purses of the people in government are not full yet. Until they´re full sorry nothing for you.
